The Accademia Galleries contain the world's foremost collection of Venetian paintings from the XIV to XVIII Century, with masterpieces as the St. Job sacred conversation by Giovanni Bellini, the Carpaccio's cicle of the Saint Ursula Legend, the St. Jerome in the Desert by Piero della Francesca, the St. George by Andrea Mantegna, the Portrait of a Young Man by Lorenzo Lotto, the Tempest by Giorgione, the Levi's Banquet by Veronese, the Transport of the St. Mark's body by Tintoretto, La Pietà by Titian, the Fortune Teller by Giambattista Piazzetta, a number of little Venetian scenes by Pietro Longhi and portraits by Rosalba Carriera.
