The exhibition is divided into an introduction, The basis for a modern song, and four areas that draw the stages of the movement since the first singers begin the phenomenon as an adventure of complicity (1961-1968) in a context in which resistance a dying dictatorship (1969-1975) is increasing.
Nearly 300 objects from the van wearing a Nova Cançó exhibition which are covered with EP, LP and CD, posters, programs, performances, original documents such as contracts of record companies recording record or proceedings, certificates of censorship and correspondence, agendas of managers, handwritten scores by the same authors of representative songs, books and magazines that deal with the phenomenon, and objects such as sculpture dedicated to Raimon by Andreu Alfaro which is titled The voice of a people, subtitle exposure, or the mascot of the radio program discoverer of new talent and disseminator of Nova Cançó, fluoroscopic, who ran Salvador Escamilla. Most of these pieces come from the private collection of Fermí Puig, song writer and a great collector, and the Library of Catalonia.
Through some 150 photographs, many of them unpublished, which come from key figures in the photograph of our country as Pilar Aymerich, Colita, Josep Puvill, Toni Catany, Oriol Maspons, Francesc Fàbregas or Pomés among others, is explained not only the historical moment and its protagonists, but also shows the evolution of artistic and creative concepts.
