Museum Schillerhaus

in detail

In this time, Schiller lived at various residences in Mannheim. His last abode was probably the Hölzelschen Haus in Mannheim, B5, 8. This architectural ensemble no longer exists today. However, the preserved neighboring complex B5, 7 conveys an impression of the young Schiller’s living situation in the final months of his sojourn in the city.
The young Friedrich Schiller celebrated his first successes as a dramatist on Mannhein's soil.
