in detail

With its orientation towards the Fluxus movement and its extensive private collection of works by Wolf Vostells, and working contemporary artists, the museum FLUXUS+ is unique to Berlin, Potsdam and the surrounding area. Situated directly on the bank of the Havel River, this private museum presents a variety of works by Wolf Vostell, the German Fluxus representative, who became known in the 60’s through his happenings and performance art.
The museum also focuses on the works of protagonists in the international Fluxus movement for example Nam June Paik, Alison Knowles, Yoko Ono and Emmett Williams.
In the sector of contemporary art the museum displays works by Sebastian Heiner, Hella De Santarossa, Lutz Friedel and Costantino Ciervo.

The free Fluxus documentation #permanentFLUXUS in the atrium, educational offers, regular concerts, a café and a museum shop complement the permanent exhibition.
