in detail

You can see the awe-inspiring skeleton of the cave bear, which used to exist side by side with humans - the Neanderthal Men and the Cro-Magnon Men (early modern humans) – and became extinct approximately 20.000 years ago. The brown bear (a dermoplastic of which you can see), inhabited the forests of the Notranjska region not long ago and is one of the largest European land-dwelling carnivores of the present-day. You will be able to get familiar with the two bears, compare them and learn about the differences between them.
